Hey Shawn, glad I could help. As far as what transpired at Cloyds' Mountain, I do not believe the 4th lost any colors, or the 3rd Reserves for that matter. The 3rd Reserves came close to losing their colors at 2nd Manassas if it weren't for Capt. Thomas F. B. Tapper who rescued them. Tapper was from the 4th Reserves.

According to the information I can find, after the 4th's enlistment (just days after Cloyds' Mountain) had ended, Colonel Tapper took both the colors home with him.
