I am on a search for all Union flags/colors captured.

Charles is working on the Confederate flags and if I come across any, I send it right to him.

This is great you know about the Pennsylvania Reserves!

Would you happen to know of any flags captured from or by the Pennsylvania Reserves? I have found MOH lists with flags captured by the PA Reserves, but not much on PA Reserve flags captured.

The old book "Advance the Colors" was very helpful. It mentioned some Pennsylvania regiments as losing a color. I still can not find out where they lost the color. Their regimental histories rarely shed any light.

A great example is the 88th Pennsylvania Regiment. I think they might have lost a flag at 2nd Bull Run. But no evidence so far. The Confederates at 2nd Bull Run wrote of capturing many flags.

I have very detailed maps of regimental positions usually on a 10-20 page time line scale.

That was very helpful you mentioned the 3rd PA Reserves did not lose a color at 2nd Bull Run. I have many questions on 2nd Bull Run.
