The Civil War Preservation Trust (civilwar.org) has recently introduced a new online display of Civil War battle flags that were carried by Union and Condederate troops at the Battle of Bentonville in March,1865. This online collection contains images of Civil War banners from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, New York, and Texas. The CWPT is currently engaged in several preservation efforts at the Bentonville battlefield in North Carolina.
