I concur with Tom - this may well be a compnay flag and not a regimental althought that cannot be ruled out either.

It is certainly large enough to be used as unit colors. There are more CS flags that were unit colors that lack the regimental name as well as battle honors than those that have them so lacking these two thigns is not proof that it was not used by some Confederate unit.
