Martha Aitken is a lady in North Alabama who is a family genealogist, new to the study of the Civil War. She has several "illustrious" Southern ancestors, including Colonel (temporarily "General") William Temple Withers, commander of the 1st Mississippi Light Artillery Regiment, during the Vicksburg Campaign. I am not a flag expert, so I can offer Ms. Aitken limited help. If you could give her posting some attention, I would certainly appreciate it.
