Does anyone know if any of the 5th (McKenzie's) Tennessee Calvary (CSA) Battle Flags survived the war, or what they looked like? At least one of the flags was destroyed by Cannon Shot...the report states that the women of "Maxton" presented the unit with a new flag and the unit fought in the Battles of Fayetteville and Bentonville under the new flag.
