As part of Walthall's Brigade at Lookout Mountain, the 27th probably carried a Hardee pattern flag.
Other regiments in the brigade (29th & 34th) lost their Hardee pattern flags there. The 30th's Hardee
flag survives today in the commanding officers family. While it is likely that the Brigade carried the
Augusta Depot flags after January 1864, this cannot be documentated.
