We do indeed have the 1864 Hardee flag for the 5th Confederate Infantry that was taken in the Battle of Atlanta by the 15th Michigan Infantry. it was sent to Michigan where it was displayed at several places within the state and they sent it back to Tennessee in 1942 (if memory serves).

The book on TN flags is projected to be out in late 2009 at the soonest. I am writing it as we speak.

The Tennessee State Museum can offer you an image of the recently conserved 5th Confederate Infantry flags (the former 2nd - Walker's - and 21st Tennessee combined to form this regiment).
