it is indeed amazing that Tennessee did not replicate Missouri in the flags aspect.

A couple are in private hands - cavalry guidons - and three were returned to Tennessee in 1905 from the US War Department that are also gone somewhere since then. West Point has some flags from the US Quartermaster Forces regiments that were raised in September, 1864 to protect Nashville made up of the thousands of workers that served the supply depots and we will be using those.
