I now unstand this flag-This was a small group of (Cherokee's) in Kansas Fed. Indian Brig.
History shows many fleed from I.T (OK)Formed Indian Fed.Exp. abt April-July 1862
They took back FT Gibsin in I.T. July 1862

One last Question-Is it odd to have a flag copyrighted? And send to the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.??
