Thank you for that info. Do you happen to know, did the Meaghers return to Ireland or maybe she did by herself. The 'fitin 69th" has always interested me as has the 42nd or Tammany Hall regiment. My Great Grandpa fought under a green flag as well, the 90th Illinois.
