Hello,

The Third Bunting for the 17th Virginia survives somewhere as I have seen it in a post-war picture in front of the UDC hall in Alexandria, VA.

As Tom Martin correctly states, these June, 1863 issued flags did not have any battle honors on them - only white painted unit designations. I know of no flags that replaced those flags lsot at Gettysburg that had battle honors painted on them either. Most ANV flags did not have battle honors.

The divisional issues of flags with the dark blue painted battle honors began in April, 1863 due to the handful of brigades getting honors added to the flags on their own volition.

You may be looking for a flag that simply does not exist.
