It appears that the hoist edge of the flag in question is comparable to the width of this door, SIX feet. Maybe the floor in this room was the largest area that the owner had to lay it on and still have room to step back and snap a photo. My house floors are clean enough to do such a thing. What's the big issue? It's a yankee reunion flag. Big Deal. Anything offered for sale or put up for bidding is only "worth" what someone is willing to pay for it. Sentiment doesn't add value except to the owner.
