Hello. My mother has a Civil War quilt with a quilted "reversed" flag in the center. A tag with the quilt says "North Carolina Regiment Flag" but the tag is later. The quilt is definitely old and of period material and the once red flag has faded to tan. Can anyone ID the flag or give us an idea of the quilt's possible significance?
