I have spoken to Ken and the 8th LA at Memorial Hall (WD 14)and the flag they hold is definitely the flag taken at Rappahannock Station along with at least two other La flags taken there that day. These are WD 11, the 5th or 9th LA, and WD 12, the Louisiana Guard Artillery. These are also at Memorial Hall.

The Gettysburg captured flag for the 8th Louisiana is missing so far as we know. If your friend owns this flag we all would benefit from knowing about it including provenance and photos if possible. It would be nice to tie this one up.
