21st Mississippi Infantry Flag

Just spent the weekend in Vicksburg and, of course, toured the Old Courthouse Museum. They have a flag on display belonging to the 21st Mississippi Infantry that the description says was brought home from Appomattox but it certainly did not appear to be an ANV Richmond issue. The flag was probably 42" to 48" square, 5"(+/-) St. Andrews cross (no fimbration) with what appeared to be (at one time) 12-3" stars spaced at about 8" to 9" intervals. It has the remains of a 1/2" white header. There is evidence that there may have been a 1/2" white border, also. The fly quadrant has 2"(+/-) lettering "21st REGT" "MISS" "VOLS" in three lines. Does any one have any further information on this flag?
