Re: Celistino Gonzales - 1st FLA INF

I have a Celestino H. Gonzalez, son of Pedro and Gila Bonifay Gonzalez. He was one of 13 children born after his parent wed (his father's second wife) on 6 Sept. 1833. I don't have any dates for Celestino though. He'd be a cousin of some sort to my husband through the De La Rua line. The community of Gonzalez in Escambia County is the old Gonzalez ranchero. Andrew Jackson stayed there when he came to Pensacola to take West Florida over from Spain.
Celestino's grandfather on the Bonifay side was Mayor of Pensacola and the Gonzalez and Bonifay family tree is still growing in Escambia County. There's a lot on the family but will see if I can find more on Celestino.
