Re: Skirmish at Cemetery

The ferry located behind the area of Old Bethel Church was Griffith's Ferry. Samuel Griffith, my great great great grandfater. He also lost all or a portion of his mill, and a great deal of lumber at the hands of the Union patrols. An incident occured in which the lumber was actually placed in the river, lit ablaze and then floated down river.
I grew up approximately five miles from Old Bethel (as the crow flies) and several of my ancestors served in the War, and I have never been told a story of any "battle" having been fought in that area. I am familiar with the Camp Walton, Eucheeanna incidents.

I am attempting to locate a roster of the Co. H, 6th Florida Infantry or Captain Cawthon's Company. Might someone advise me of the best location to obtain such information?
