Re: Archibald Gillis 6th Florida

I was never sure which year they came over. I knew it to be about 1790. I would like to know where in the Isle of Skye they came from as that has been a big stumbling block for me. I have "Our Native Heath" -Richmond County, NC, 1779-1899 and "Scattered Seed", genealogical research data of Southeastern NC. Both books by Myrtle N. Bridges and both very good. Just don't have my Daniel Campbell. Has some of his relatives and I have tried through them. Anyway, thank you for your reply, you have given me additional information. I will look for Metcalf's book.
Would you know the ship they came on? or Port of Departure?
Thank you for your help. Joedy
