Several unofficial sources indicate that Edmond James Wooten was killed in the first day of battle at Seven Pines. His unit is unknown but it is known that Wooten had lived in Georgia and moved to Florida but had friends/family in Alabama. Thus I assume he could have joined the CSA fron either state. His wife/widow was Mary Ann Wade Wooten but t is not known if she applied for a pension. And and all info appreciated...
