As to the above message that I posted concerning the 8th regiment of Fla. Volunteers, Company G, commanded by a Capt.B.F.Roberts...I guess I should have let folks know that the soldier I'm seeking info on was named Robert Hicks and was a 19 year old farmer from Nassua county when he enlisted in 1862 to serve with this unit.

Again, any info on this man would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
