Re: Confederate artillery complement at Fernandina

Thanks very much. My specific interest is in finding some mention of two Spanish mortars that were moved from the Castillo de San Marcos at St. Augustine. Maybe they were the two beyond the railroad bridge that were not yet mounted, I don't know. Those two mortars, which I call the "six flags mortars" were taken by the Navy and engraved with "Captured at Fernandina March ____ 1862 by Rer. Ad. Dupont."
