Thanks Dale, I had suspected as much and your information further confirms this. By any chance would you know the name of the Union Warships say in January of 1864 who might be around the Panama City area? I can pull the deck logs while at the NARA in DC and they might confirm who was taken to Key West. Singleton's CMSR had nothing about his capture other than he was taken prisoner. Best Regards, Dennis
