The original Ives' letters are in the Florida Collection of the State Library in Tallahassee (or they were when I last used them around 2000--it is possible that they have been transferred to the Florida State Archives). An edited collection of the letters has been published by Jim Cabaniss. I've been working on a similar project relating to the Ives letters and journal for a number of years, which I hope to eventually complete.
