I am trying to acquire any information available on a George Nelson who enlisted at age 21 years of age in Tampa, Florida on Oct. 1861 into the Fla. 1st Inf. Regt.. He recd. a Disability discharge, being sick at Chelsea Naval Hospital at Chelsea, Mass.; Record group 52, entry 31, Vol. 5, pg. 59. Can anyone supply me with information on George Nelson, these records or any other records that would provide information or tell me where I can acquire them?
