James MIMS m. Mary "Polly" O'STEEN. They were in FL, mid-1800's. At least one son, William Jasper MIMS, CSA, KIA, at age 20. There were also sons Valentine and James MIMS, Jr., who would have been of military age (b.1831 and 1832) during the War.
Does anyone have anything on this family? I'm going to post this to the AL board but decided to post here, also. I know there are MIMS in the Montgomery area today.
