Battle of Richmond, KY

The Battle of Richmond (KY) Association has led the fight to save over 500 acres of the Battle of Richmond battlefield from development. The land, now owned by Madison County, has three period houses. One of those has been made into a Visitor's Center. Another, including a slave quarters, is being developed into a museum. The park hosts a reenactment the last weekend of August and living history events throughout the year. Any descendant of those who fought here might be interested in visiting the park or contributing to its development and programming. Martin's Florida Battery fought in this battle.
