Holly Bass served with the 1st Florida Cavalry, Union Volunteers. Enlisted 19Jan1864 in Co. B. He mustered out with the regiment in Tallahassee on 17 Nov 1865. He was a private throughout his service. Described as light complexion, grey eyes, dark hair, 5 ft, 5 in.
