I am in need of the pension records for a John Chancey or Chancy b. 1815-1820
He shows on Ancestry.com to be living on a pension in Lake Bird, Florida in 1900,
which suggest he was drawing a civi war pension applied for in the state of Florida.
There is a John Chancy listed on Ancestry.com as having joined the Florida Union
1st Cavalry. My John was John Wesley Chance b. @1818 SC . He was living
in Coffee County Alabama prior the civil war and on the 1860 census there.
If anyone can help with this, it would be very much appreciated.
