The Civil War in Florida

I decided to tackle the Civil War in Florida.

In Studying the war in eastern North Carolina, I discovered that when the Yankees occupied Elizabeth city, Roanoke Island, and new Bern, the planter class which was at the top of the economic heap, fled westward an abandoned their property. This gave both white and Black people economic opportunities that they had never had before. Suddenly they had social mobility.

How did the war affect the average citizen? How did the war affect the various classes of people in the state, the wealthy, the middle class, and the poor?

I am looking for books that address these questions.

Equally important I am interested in reading about every military campaign in Florida, down to the smallest skirmish. And I imagine there must be several books on the military operations in Florida.

I will be very grateful for any help that people can give me.
