The union and confederate cavalry in Fla 1864-65

First, can anyone tell me the cavalry units for each side that fought in Florida in 1864 and 1865? Did they fight on horseback or did they fight dismounted? Are there any examples of mounted chargers where both sides attacked each other with sabers and pistols.

Second, did the Yankees use mounted infantry? If so, which regiments were mounted? How did they fight? Did they fight on horseback or did they dismount and fight?

Third, were any of the USCT infantry regiments assigned to the region put on horseback?

The Yankees in Georgia and South Carolina seem to have been frequently trying to cut the railroad. On several occasions they said large forces to tear up the railroad.

I’m currently reading about the battle of honey hill. Did the Yankees have a brigade of Cavalry in this battle? If so, who commanded it. What about the other yankee expeditions sent to tear up the railroad? Did they have cavalry?
Did anyone write about the confederate cavalry in Florida. Did anyone write about the confederate cavalry in Georgia and South Carolina and how it protected the railroad?

I am looking for books about the vowels in these three states, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
