I found a listing for John E. Morgan enlisted 2/6/1863 Richmond Co., GA, unit 318, Co. A, 5th Inf. Reg. (Clinch Rifles.) He was sick 7/4/1863 Bridgeport, AL (sent to rear) deserted 11/15/1864.

I don't think he ever drew his pension. What other records could I look for that may give more info on this John E. Morgan???

I appreciate any help, as I haven't done any military related research before.
