Hi. I am a native of Louisville, Jefferson County, Georgia, and through a conversation with Dottie Olson recently, I have become interested in the Jefferson Riflemen flag in Ohio. I have already sent along most of the information I have through Dottie to my mother and my late father's law partner, both of whom live in Louisville, in hopes they can dredge up some more information. It would be helpful if we had names of men who served in the unit, because we may be able to locate a descendant. I would think it might help if a descendant currently living in Jefferson County could join in the request for the return of the flag to Georgia.
