Thanks so much for the list of Edward Wilsons from (I think) Georgia. Is there any way I can narrow this list down, short of looking at the CSRs of each of these soldiers?

I e-mailed Broadbent Publications, who said I didn't have enough information for a CSR search.

Unfortunately, there are a LOT of Edward Wilsons on the list (and I don't know if he HAD a middle name), and I really don't know how to narrow the list down. I have some 1860 and 1870 census information for my great-great grandfather, and I know dates and places of his birth and death; I don't, however, know what unit he served with.

I don't know what my next step should be. I'd be very grateful for anyone's suggestions.
