HI and THANK YOU FOR OPENING THIS BOARD!

I live in Gulfport, Mississippi and we are experiencing a lot of problems over the rebel flag. MANY WANT IT TO BE TAKEN DOWN as they say it represents slavery.

Many others and myself say LEAVE IT FLY!

It is a part of history and part of this state.

TWO of my direct ancestors fought and were killed near Atlanta,Georgia while defending the Rebel flag during the Civil War....it should fly to honor all those brave soldiers who fought and died defending that flag.

I am a United Daughters of the Confederacy member and we honor that flag for our ancestors.
