I am searching for my ggggrandfather Andrew Jackson Grubbs. In the 1860 census he is listed in Banks County Ga Gillsville with his wife Emma, 2 sons Francis Marion and James and a brother Barzellious. A.J. served in the Civil War in the 13th Infantry Co. C. He is said to have been born in SC. After the war, he settled in Spartanburg County, SC and is listed in both the 1870 and 1880 census' there. Does anyone have any information on this family? I would greatly apppreciate anything.
