My Alvin Mcdonald (Mcdonnel)Wright was son of A. John Wright Sr. born in 1809 in Alabama and died in Sabine County Texas. Alvin was born in 1844 and on the papers that I have it says that he died in the Civil War. It says that he was called "Mack". I believe the family may have been from the Troupe Georgia area. Also, Alvin had a brother, John Andrew Wright, Jr. born in 1840. And yes, this could possibly be the brother of Alvin. The boys were only 4 years apart in age. I do not have any service records for either boy, but need to obtain them. Help!!!!!!!
