I am seeking information about Co.B 1st Ga. Infantry.
My Great Grandfather was in that unit.I am at a standstill.
I do not have much expertise on this,since I am just learning to use the computer and how to find all of the Websites as well.I have been searching for his records for awhile and have not had any success.I believe that he volunteered in 1861 at the age of 17.I do not know what county he lived in at that time either.His name was James H.
Wood(s).He was born on 8-10-1844.Died in Oklahoma on 8-16-1921.He is buried at the McGee Cemetery in Stratford,Okla.
I would appreciate any help that I may be given on this.
