I am seeking any information possible on an ancestor who was a member of the Confederate armed forces during the Civil War. His full name was Elijah N. Crow. I have no information of his units other than family history that he served in the Confederate forces. He was born in Cass (now Bartow) County, Georgia on April 28, 1846, oldest son of Jessee and Jane Daniel Crow. He had two brothers, Walter (or Walton) Wright Crow and William Thaddius (or M.) Crow. Brother William was known to have been in the Confederate Army, having enlisted in Cass Co., Ga., under the name William M. Crow. Unknown how or when Elijah enlisted. After the Civil War, Elijah was known to be living in Panthersville in DeKalb Co., Ga. in the 1880s and is known to have married for the second time in December, 1880. His second wife was M. J. Rhodes. Elijah was listed as Elija in the 1880 Census and was the father of four children at time of marriage to second wife. Any information greatly appreciated.
