Here is a start, at least. This from Lillian Henderson's "Roster of the Confederate Soldiers of Georgia, 1861-1865":

GILMER AND PICKENS COUNTIES, GEORGIA
"GILMER LIGHT GUARDS"
*This company was organized in May 1862 , as Co.B, Inf. Battn., Smith's Legion, Ga. Vols. It became Co.A, 65th Regiment Ga. Inf., in March 1863 .
Steele, Benjamin F. (or B. A.)-Elected 2d Lieutenant, Inf. Battn., Smith's Legion, Ga. Vols., May 13, 1862 . Transferred to Co.A, 65th Regiment Ga. Inf., March 1863 . Elected 1st Lieutenant June 20, 1863 . Resigned, having been elected clerk of the Inferior Court of Pickens Co.,Ga.,February 17, 1864 .

GEORGIA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY

Blair, Edley P.----- private August 20, 1861 . Discharged, disability,May 3, 1862 .
Blair, George H.----- private August 20, 1861 . Killed, Gettysburg, Pa. July 2, 1863 .
The NPS Soldiers and Sailors website lists Blair in the 3rd Ga. also.........
