Hopefully Alan Pitts will take a look at this posting. I've done some looking in several places and can't find a good prospect in a Georgia unit; however, there is an "S.O. Reeves/Reaves" listed as a member of the 9th Alabama Cavalry (Malone's). This unit fought around Atlanta.

I'll send Alan an email and make sure he takes a look at this posting.
