Hi Jeff found your note and am interested in the same. I have one sourse that states the 12th was armed in Richmond "Rimfire to Roundball"with 1816 drum conversions. But, Martin Bretts booklet states that Co"F" left Dolly County armed but does not say with what.With 22000 smoothbores in the Agusta Arsenal alone I believe Brett's account but dont know for sure if it was a conversion or a 1842 musket.
