John Perry

I am trying to determine which John Perry is my great uncle that fought from Twiggs County, GA as a Confederate in the Civil War. I have found some documentation that he died of wounds at the Seven Days' Battles in Richmond, VA. I have found a John I. Perry that was in the 12th GA Regiment and went in as a Private and came out as a 2 Lieutenant. I have found yet another John R. Perry that served in the 45th Regiment, Georgia Infantry as a Private. I do know that his middle name was Randolph and he was a School teacher in 1860. I am in hopes that someone on this board may have access to information that could help me to determine which one is the correct John Perry so I may order his compiled service record.

I do appreciate your kindness,
Cyndi
