Henderson's roster will have most of the names but not all of them. Death claims found in National Archives service files will often mention parents and widows, since payments due deceased soldiers were payable to them. Pension applications will be useful for similar reasons.
For a project such as you describe, why not use the 1860 census of this county? You should expect to see considerable population change between 1850 and 1860. I did a similar study for Confederate soldiers from Barbour County AL for the purpose of creating a social profile of each company recruited there.
