Here is a list of Mathis men in Company G, they must be family.

Mathias, Augustus L.- private March 4, 1862. Surrendered 992

at Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865. Died in Stewart County, Ga.

Mathias, Joseph Y.- private March 4, 1862. Furloughed for 30 days from August 5, 1864. No later record.

Mathias, William E.- private March 10, 1863. Sent to Macon, Ga. hospital September 1864. Furloughed from hospital for 60 days October 1864. At home sick, close of war.
