I am tracking Selden's Artillery (from 'Bama) and my ggfather. They left Mobile in '64 and I believe they joined Joe Johnson for the Atlanta defense on May 12 and were ready to go at Reseca, New Hope Church, and Casville. On June 12, he went on furlough and was sent west.

I'm headed to Atlanta-Stone Mountain and have Monday to visit sites- where should I go to get the quickest and best feel for what happened?
