A military stone has been placed at the grave of Pvt. Thomas Jasper Jones who enlisted with Co. F 3rd Reg. Georgia State Troopers October 13, 1861. He left that company April 1862 and on May 13, 1862 enlisted as private in Co. H 56th Reg. Georgia Inf. was captured at Vicksburg,MS July 4, 1863 and paroled July 8th. Thomas Jasper Jones is my great-grandfather, he is buried in Caldwells Chappell, Greene Co. Arkansas.
