No Gerald, I just think it is totally cool that a confederate is behind the popular drink Coca cola. It is unfortunate that people wouldn't care or even shun the fact that he was confederate. I think the man behind Dr. Pepper was a COnfederate Doctor too. If you come across W. L. Weller bourbon then his kid brother was captain of Co. D 4th Ky. CSA. Prichard's rum of Tennessee was made by a confederate family during the war. I bet Woodford reserve was made by confederates since Woodford County was heavily COnfederate. If you don't drink alcohol then more power to ya lol!! Do you know of a regimental history or an account of the 39th Georgia? I know they were a northern Georgia unit.
