There are several Nunn's in the 34th Georgia and I wanted to include their information because it is possible they are related.

This information was taken from:

Company A. Whitfield County.

Nunn, R.C. Private. Clothing issued to him October 17, 1864. No later record.

Company E. Jackson County.

Nunn, Augustus A. (or Augustus L.) Private. Enlisted May 13, 1862. Appointed Corporal. Captured at Baker's Creek, Miss. May 16, 1863. Died at Fort Delaware, Delaware. June 20, 1863.

Nunn, James E. Private. Enlisted May 13, 1862. Captured at Baker's Creek, Miss. May 16, 1863. Exchanged at Fort Delaware, Delaware, July 4, 1963. Died of typhoid fever in General Hospital at Camp Winder, Richmond, Va. August 5, 1863. Buried there in Hollywood Cemetery.

Nunn, Reuben. Private. Enlisted May 13, 1862. Died March 13, 1863.

The following information was taken from the "Index to the Georgia Civil War Confederate Pension Files" by Virgil White. Either these soldiers or their widows filed for Indigent Pensions in the state of Georgia. If they migrated to another state in the post war years after their residence in the state of Georgia then it is possible they filed in their new state of residence.

Elizabeth S. Nunn, widow of Reuben C. Nunn of Company H, she filed in Clarke County.

Esther E. Nunn, widow of J.E. Nunn of Company E, she filed in Jackson County.

Reuben C. Nunn. Company H. he filed in Clarke County. (Huh?? Either something is wrong with Lillian Henderson's books or someone committed fraud, this is another Reuben or something else)

W.T. Nunn. Company C. he filed in Jackson County.
