I enjoyed looking at the pictures and am interested in the Hood's. I do Genealogy and have researched my line(my Mother's)Hood Genealogy back to Nathaniel Hood 1740-1809.I would like to know your line from John Bell HOOD.also YOUR ANCESTORS.I plan to visit John Bell HOOD'S grave in New ORLEANS, I LIVED IN SLIDELL La for many years before I retired , I was not doing Genealogy at that time.I have been reading much History about the Civil WAR. my great granfathers fought for the South and what they believed in, and I make no apology for their stand.( my ancestors ), some ,died for their beliefs.
